Angels’ Share is the first Killian fragrance created in collaboration with French perfumer Benoit Lapouza, and perhaps the most personal fragrance for Killian to date, because the brand founder represents the eighth generation of the Hennessy dynasty, famous for its achievements in the art of cognac. The name Angels’ Share is a deep reference to Kilian Hennessy’s memoirs about the most mysterious phenomenon in the cognac business, “the angels’ share.
Aroma: To obtain exceptional quality cognac, master blenders combine different types of Eaux-de-Vie in ideal proportions, and in the same way, perfumers create different accords and essences that then become part of the aroma. Angels' Share contains cognac essence, which is extracted from the drink itself and gives it a natural caramel color. This top note is followed by oak absolute, cinnamon essence and tonka bean absolute. The Kilian brand was founded in 2007 by the heir to the Hennessy dynasty. She is famous for becoming the shaper of modern luxury traditions by creating her own popular cognac. Killian became interested in perfumery, wrote a dissertation on the semantics of fragrances, graduating from the Sorbonne. He has worked with Christian Dior, Paco Rabanne, Alexander McQueen and Giorgio Armani. He always dreamed of returning tradition and luxury to the perfumery art, which were peculiar to him at the end of the XIX century.
