In the early 1900s, young Vincenzo Parisi's family sent him from swampy, malarial Apulia to seek better opportunities that did not then exist in Italy's poor, rural southern provinces. Unlike many who pursued the American Dream, his journey began as a shoemaker in Genoa. It was then that he made his first and only pair of leather boots. A couple that lasted until his last days. Due to renovation work, the shoes were constantly changing and were not at all like the pair he first put on. However, his soul remained intact.
Inspired by a single pair of handcrafted leather shoes and moving forward, Quoium by Vincezo shows love and respect for leather. A vision of a modern world that remains connected to its pagan traditions - valuing origins and allowing mystery to play a role in life.
This fragrance is a tribute to the courage and willpower to move forward, to repair, not replace, to take care of heritage. The COVER is made of rusty metal with the original vegetable tanned leather logo.
