The story of La Mer began with the fact that Dr. Max Huber set out to transform his skin after an accident in the laboratory, as a result of which he received burns. After 12 years and 6,000 experiments, he created the legendary Miracle Broth elixir by fermenting brown seaweed and other ingredients. This cell-renewing elixir formed the basis of the Crème de la Mer moisturizer, which visibly transforms the skin.
