Deep patchouli establishes Blu Cobalto I as a warm oriental-gourmand composition with pronounced earthy and balsamic facets. The fragrance balances the natural darkness of patchouli with the softer, more rounded character of cocoa.
Malacca patchouli leads the composition with woody, earthy and subtly camphoraceous nuances. Pure cocoa extract develops at the heart, adding a dry chocolate tone with a smooth, powdery texture. Opoponax completes the structure through resinous warmth, gentle spice and a persistent balsamic finish.
Released in 2018, this extrait de parfum belongs to Valmont’s Storie Veneziane collection. Its concentrated format supports a lasting scent presence, while the limited three-note structure keeps each material clearly defined.
Inspired by Venice’s Campo San Moisè and the cobalt pigment traditionally used by Murano glassmakers, the presentation reflects the artistic identity of the collection. The bottle features a Murano glass mask designed by Didier Guillon and handcrafted by master glassmaker Leonardo Cimolin, together with a leather-trimmed cap.
