Two or three servants are busy drawing baths, opening curtains and beating carpets, preparing the house for its inhabitants to meet each other.

Changing Constance
Lady Blanche's sister, Constance, is a woman who is called "progressive." A woman of her time, although times always change.
Of course, progress is progress, but will she ever get married? Why does she need a job? What's wrong with our government? And why, oh, why does she have an opinion on everything? Despite all these shortcomings, men fall at her feet, children dote on her, and servants treat her with special respect.
What is she saying so loudly? About voting rights for women? So that they forget what it means to be a lady?! This is no longer a joke... Maybe she’ll also wear trousers?! Dear God, what will be left for men if women start wearing trousers?
Her scent
The first whiff of fresh and spicy notes is intriguing (disobeying the rules?). The combination of cool cardamom and hot pimenta is confusing. Her energy gives way to shocking decorum. This scent also has sophistication.
Unfortunately, old habits die hard, and when they disappear, it’s difficult for us. Therefore, everyone in the house agreed to at least feign interest in new trends (as long as they resemble the old ones). With the exception of Constance, of course, who decided to ignore even the Constitution.
